About Katie
My desire to help others started early, though finding a way to channel this passion wasn’t always clear. As a child, I was drawn to life’s mysteries, fascinated by the connections and unspoken threads that bind us all. I was the “sensitive” one—the child who felt everything deeply, who picked up on the smallest shifts in others’ moods, who questioned the “what, why, and how” of existence.
I felt a profound connection to something greater - and it developed within me a restless and unbridled curiosity that would lay the foundation for my life’s work.
In time, and with the guidance of my clinical training, I discovered a grounded, holistic approach to self-discovery and healing—one that honors the mind-body connection and embraces the intricate web of relationships shaping who we are. As a practicing therapist, I bring an intuitive and deeply empathic presence to my work, often attuned to the subtle, nonverbal cues that reveal what words sometimes cannot. This is a space where I feel most alive. For me, therapy isn’t just a profession; it’s a calling woven into my life, guided by values I hold close and rely on daily.
When I’m off the clock, I love spending time with my family and our two dogs, staying active outdoors, exploring mindfulness and meditation, and discovering new foods as a self-proclaimed foodie. These are the simple joys that keep me balanced and connected to the things I love most.
